Stay at home mom depression

The Viral Stay at Home Mom Depression Post

In April of 2018, I innocently wrote a post describing my how I was feeling about being a stay at home mom. Little did I know, it took off and has reached thousands, if not millions of women around the globe.

Now, this was my first viral post and seeing it reposted by other women made me smile.

But then there were the trolls, those stinky, live under the bridge, miserable ole trolls. It didn’t take long for me to get in my feelings and want to lash out at them, but I had to keep my composure because I am better than that.

Everyone was fighting in the comments about who had it harder, working moms or stay at home moms… THAT IS NOT WHY I WROTE THIS! Which confirms my point about people making other people feel like their feelings are invalid.

We know it’s tough both ways but I am specifically speaking on staying home because as I mentioned, I was a working mom before. I have been on BOTH sides and this is what pertains to my feelings at this moment.

I guess in 2019, I hope people learn to use context clues *insert crying laughing emoji*
